My client currently requires a Principal Contracts Officer for their site in London. They will be responsible for the support of commercial activities for the business unit throughout the project lifecycle. They will oversee the commercial well-being and contractual affairs of the organisation alongside the production of costed proposals.
They should possess a good understanding of civil and defence commercial environments, with knowledge of UK MoD and/or Export contracting and commercial risks and liabilities. They should be competent in the preparation of quotations, responses to contract terms and conditions and draft basic agreements. They should be confident to liaise effectively with both internal and external customers.
