Qualifications and experience
Commercial, Contracts and/or Procurement functions experience and bid preparation experience are all essentials
Experience of contract management, particularly large contracts with a number of subcontractors is desirable.
A degree in Business, Law or Engineering would be an advantage.
Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
Principal Commercial Officer
We are looking for someone to be responsible for the management and administration of a major aerospace project, supporting the Commercial Manager.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Development into FOC Bidding activities and follow-on involvement in the subsequent contract negotiations, contract and related sub-contracts, with assistance as necessary.
Involvement in the subcontractor selection process including negotiation of sub-contracts.
To lead or support the preparation of bids, agreements, contracts based on Company standards in line with the overall EU vet approvals and where specified, business strategy.
To undertake commercial activities in line with company policy and procedures.
Ability to travel is essential.
