As a Primary Substation Inspector you will be carrying out the full range of duties relating to EHV Primary Substation Inspections at Voltages between 11KV and 132KV.
The company is an Electrical Engineering and Contracting business delivering both HV & LV Electrical solutions to a number of high profile clients nationwide .The company boasts experts spanning the disciplines of design, construction, installation and commissioning and they pride themselves on delivering customer focussed solutions.
The company has won a number of Contracts relating to the design and installation of electrical infrastructure on a number of the Olympic sites. As a result of these project wins they are now looking to build a highly experienced, professional and focussed Project team.
Based in East London, the company are looking for a Primary Substation Inspector. As a Primary Substation Inspector you will be carrying out the full range of duties relating to EHV Primary Substation Inspections at Voltages between 11KV and 132KV. You will using your Inspection experience when undertaking the diagnostic testing of all plant and equipment associated with the Primary Distribution network. On identification of faults you will undertake minor works, or supervise teams of maintenance and engineering staff carrying out works packages.

To be successful you must have be all of the following:
Educated to a minimum of HNC in an Electrically biased discipline.
A technical understanding of the principles of distribution engineering design and operation up to 132KV.
Experience of undertaking substation inspections.
A strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
