The Powertrain EMS Controls Engineer will require the following skills:
PC skills, Requirements capture, Electronic systems engineering, Robustness / FMEA, Embedded Software for EMS, clear written commnication skills, ETAS INCA calibration tool experience, experience with EMS software specifications, Matlab / simulink, data measurement and analysis, Familiarity with client GPDS, project and supplier management Skills Preferred: Knowledge / experience of embedded software process design ISO TR 15504 (SPICE) / CMMI. Software validation processes for safety critical systems / VDA Dependability for PT systems Experience Required: Good experience with automotive Power Train / EMS gasoline / diesel projects Experience Preferred: Embedded SW design, model development & rapid prototyping techniques
Knowledge of gasoline and Diesel engine design / combustion and vehicle applications Successful candidates must have a minimum of HNC/HND in relevant field, ideally educated to Degree level.
