Powertrain Controls and Applications
Ricardo is a world leading Automotive Engineering Consultancy working for many major OEMs in the passenger car and commercial vehicle markets.
The Powertrain Control and Applications department is currently responding to an increase in work driven by the tightening emissions regulations both in Europe and the US markets.
As a result, we now seek a Project Engineer to join our existing team of engineers.
This role offers a great opportunity to work on and own a wide variety of projects using cutting edge technology. Primarily you will be developing engine control systems for future Diesel applications, in particular OBD systems.
Successful candidates' everyday tasks will include control algorithm development, rapid prototyping of control systems and implementation on testbed and vehicles.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level in an Engineering discipline with an emphasis on Control Systems. Hands on experience of developing control algorithms is essential, preferably with Rapid Prototyping Control hardware as well as in simulation.
