A subsidiary of a large international group is looking for a Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer to work on and develop their skills in power supply design. Ideally you will have had experience of switch mode power supply design; however, experience in the following would also be advantageous:
Power processing
Control
Safety
EMC
Thermal Design
Magnetics Design
Embedded Processors
DFMA
Halt & Hass
Analogue Design
Control Circuit Design
High Power RFI Transmitter Design
Applicants must have a degree in Electronics or a related discipline or an HNC with 3-5 year experience and possess the following non technical skills:.
Work and communicate within a team
Capable of working under pressure
Must be able to work fast and efficiently
Work with other departments i.e. QA, Production, Sales etc
Appreciate commercial requirements
Working within ISO 9000 environment
Other useful experience:
Medium to large volume manufacture
Embedded hardware and software experience
Semiconductor device electronics
PC literate
