Power Supply Design Engineer
Power Supply Design Engineer sought by a long established but progressive electronics company located in Cambridgeshire , specialising in the design & manufacture of high reliability switch mode power supplies and inverters for a range of industrial markets. Due to increasing demand for our products and services we require an additional senior design engineer to join our development department. This will be a challenging and rewarding role for the candidate who is able to work from concept through to detailed design before direct hands-on involvement in developing prototypes up to production release.
You must be qualified to HND minimum, degree preferred, with at least 4 years power electronics design.
Familiarity with EMC test methods and experience of problem solving. Theoretical and practical design of circuitry and magnetic elements. Detailed knowledge of component and circuit characteristics.
Personal Characteristics - Self starter able to work with little supervision, Able to share ideas with and learn from colleagues
