A major CCGT Power Station in the South East is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Technician to work on a shift pattern at their site. The Power Station is owned by one of the World's largest energy producers and they can offer a fantastic career opportunity. Salary of over £40k including shift allowance is realistic.
A major CCGT Power Station in the South East is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Technician to work on a shift pattern at their site. The Power Station is owned by one of the World's largest energy producers and they can offer a fantastic career opportunity.
This is an operational role at the power plant and will require someone with experience of power generation and the operation of large rotating machinery, generators, boilers, water treatment, gas turbines, steam turbines and balance of plant. The ability to work as part of a team and knowledge of the management of health and safety in an operational site is essential.
Relevant experience may have been gained on process sites such as Power Stations, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, CHP, Marine (including ex-forces), etc. A relevant engineering qualification would also be expected.
The package on offer to the successful applicant is worth £40k+ with actual details to be confirmed on application. This is a shift working role and therefore commands a shift allowance, bonus and overtime. The full package is very generous, as you would expect from a major employer.
