They provide complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes as well as avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.
They are now seeking the following engineering professionals for their sites in Portsmouth and Stevenage:
Digital Systems & Signal Processing Engineer (Portsmouth) Your role will be provide technical expertise in support of system engineering for digital command and control systems and digital and analogue signal processing. Degree qualified you should possess experience of data packetisation standards, Matlab, VHDL or DSP.
Electrical & EMC Systems Engineer (Portsmouth) You will define robust electrical system architectures for spacecraft instrumentation including DC power, telemetry and command interfaces. Degree qualified you should have analysis experience of electrical designs primarily analogue circuits with a working knowledge of digital and RF circuits.
Electrical Systems Engineer (Stevenage) Working as part of a small team of electrical engineers you will be responsible for the electrical system design of spacecraft/platforms. HNC/Degree qualified, you should also have experience of equipment development and procurement.
EMC Design Engineer (Portsmouth) HNC/degree qualified EMC professional is required to undertake EMC engineering tasks on RF communications payload projects.
Knowledge of EMC issues in the range up to 30 GHz and beyond will prove beneficial.
Military Satellite Communications Study Lead (Portsmouth/Newport) You will lead the definition and development of military satellite communications related architectures, evaluate current and future technology and investigate specific niche technologies.
Instrument Engineer (Stevenage) You will take a leading role in the conceptual design phases of space science/electo-optic instruments. With a good degree in Physics or Electronics you should possess optical or X-ray instrument design knowledge.
Payload Major Satellite Component Engineer (Portsmouth) You will be an experienced systems engineer with a strong background in high power amplification to provide day to day support for advanced telecommunications payloads.
