JOB SUMMARY
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Supplier Quality Engineers to operate the Problem Resolution and Manage Non-Conformance processes. The role is supplier focused, working with suppliers, build-lines and customers to ensure in-bound quality meets contractual requirements and that problems are resolved by suppliers, minimising disruption to RR operations.

JOB SPECIFICATION: What was acceptable performance yesterday falls short of today's customer requirement. Customers demand perfect quality - it is our mission to deliver it. In order to keep fulfilling our customer demands we need to strengthen our front line improvement team (Supplier Quality Engineer) who are an integral part of our Supplier Quality Improvement strategy.

Key Role Deliverables:
Increase the pace and quality of problem resolution.
Effectively manage many investigations and improvement work-streams in parallel.
Lead suppliers and other company areas to robustly contain and solve identified problems.
Drive process adherence and improvement within the team.
Lead the resolution of identified themes with selected suppliers.


PERSON SPECIFICATION: Given the product diversity and complexity the candidate would be expected to have a good manufacturing and quality background. Equipped with an intuitive and questioning mind, the candidate will also express a desire to learn and be able to credibly represent the department in all working environments in a non-blaming manner.

We need people who can lead, be hands-on with the ability to tackle complex problems and ambiguity using the latest techniques. With a real passion for improvement, the candidate will be self-managing, and an energised investigator who can truly comply to processes as well as inspire innovation. Candidates will ideally be of graduate calibre with an engineering discipline as well as a proven track record in quality improvement in a manufacturing environment. Process Excellence training, experience and accreditation would be an advantage.
