Plant Manager required for Company operating in Dubai.

You are an Engineer (Mechanical), with 5 - 7 years of experience in repair and maintenance of Plant & Equipment in a professionally run Plant Workshop of a Construction Company, Transport Company or an Equipment Hire Company - preferably within Middle East, Africa or Far East region.

You can, while on the job, successfully demonstrate your competence and ability in the optimization of machine running costs, overtime of operators and drivers, cost of spares, etc. on a sustained basis.

You will be responsible for the proper upkeep of Plant & Machinery including the complete history of repairs, downtime, idling hours, logistics and coordination, breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, acquisition of new equipment and vehicles, external hire (in/out) of plant & machinery, while maximizing hire-out revenue and minimizing idling hours & downtime of the units owned by the Company.

You can add value to the organization by setting up, improving and/or maintaining professional operating procedures within the Department.

As an excellent team-player within the organization and an astute manager of a profit centre, you shall be able to control and monitor the work of drivers, operators and mechanics belonging to diverse nationalities, with a view to bringing about maximum productivity and performance standards and ensuring discipline within your team. You will be required to service internal and external clients and support the group companies on their requirement.
