Plant Engineering Supervisor Manchester
The main purpose of the job will be to supervise the maintenance & cleaning of all our facilities & conveyor systems throughout specified area, ensuring that they are safe, legal and dependable at the most economical cost. Project Engineering of various projects ranging from building & conveyor modifications, to opening complete new facilities within defined budgets & timelines to the highest quality.
The position will be based at our office in Manchester but you will be required travel throughout the UK and Ireland on a regular basis, and Europe in the future.
The ideal candidate will have:
Degree in Engineering, (or equivalent) 3 Years Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able To Prepare Engineering Designs & Specifications
Good Cost Estimating Skills
Understanding , Implementing & Maintaining UPS & Departmental Procedures
Maintaining Complete Accurate & Up to date Records
Selection & Monitoring Performance Of Outside Service Contractors
Good Negotiation Skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
