Description
UPS is the worlds largest package delivery company, transporting more than 13 million packages every day. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Plant Engineering department.
The main purpose of the job will be to supervise the maintenance & cleaning of all our facilities & conveyor systems throughout specified area, ensuring that they are safe, legal and dependable at the most economical cost. Project Engineering of various projects ranging from building & conveyor modifications, to opening complete new facilities within defined budgets & timelines to the highest quality
The ideal candidate will have:
Degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able To Prepare Engineering Designs & Specifications
Good Cost Estimating Skills
Understanding, Implementing & Maintaining UPS & Departmental Procedures
Maintaining Complete Accurate & Up to date Records
Selection & Monitoring Performance of Outside Service Contractors
Good Negotiation Skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
