PLANNING MANAGER
MARINE DEFENCE INDUSTRY
BASED SOUTH WEST

An opportunity has arisen for a Planning Manager to be based in the South West and to plan the Superstructure build and whole vessel outfitting stages of a Motor Yacht project. You will also support the Project Manager in project planning and reporting tasks including the production of reports, measures of progress (including EVA) and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators.

As Planning Manager you will also be required to manage the project risk database, arranging monthly/periodic reviews with Risk Owners and adjusting the contingency accordingly.

To succeed as Planning Manager should ideally have experience of planning within the Shipbuilding industry (ideally luxury yachts). You should be familiar with MS Project and ideally Primavera and be capable of maintaining business critical databases linked to design, procurement and production management. You should also understand the principles of risk management.
