Job Description
Requirements:
Proven track record of working as a Planning Engineer on projects involving complex engineering, preferably with experience in the refinery, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Working knowledge of PRIMAVERA software packages.
A flexible approach to work as part of the project control team, well motivated and able to work in a team and take responsibility for others.
Duties:
Work within the standard planning/scheduling procedures and develop project specific procedures where necessary.
Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the procedures and to ensure that sufficient planning resources are provided.
Liaise with company and Client Project Control personnel as necessary.
Timely preparation and issue of the following, ensuring input from all relevant parties:
. Project Schedules (Level 1 to 3)
. Schedule Basis Memorandum
. Manpower Projection Plan
. Critical Equipment Lists/Schedules
. Progress 'S' Curves and tabulations
. Manhour/Manpower histograms
. Short-term look ahead schedules
. Monthly progress report including narrative
Produce current physical progress reports.
Maintain accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition.
Analyse schedule trends and produce regular forecasts of schedule performance and issues for project review.
