Provide project management and operational support to the relevant ETLs to enable them to monitor and control the complete Business at all locations (Broughton / Filton / MAP / Offload).
For pure project based activities establish, maintain and integrate project plans/work schedules that are deliverable focused
Establish and maintain KPI to measure the Business.
Monitor progress and the produce reports focusing on deviation from the SLA and other baselines
Expedite monitoring and reporting actions among the project team(s)
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Establish and maintain a Project Management and Operations Toolset (baselines and actuals data), to be adapted to the size and complexity of the projects / operation:
MS Project Schedules
Cost and resource charts
Risk Management (capture, monitoring, action tracking/chasing, escalation)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Clear definition and status of deliverables
Establish and maintain a clear visual display of project targets & performance
Regular reporting and collation of project status (Time, Cost & Deliverables)
Communication/escalation of issues
Provision of ad-hoc reports as required
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
Proven ability to establish a robust PM framework and environment
Experience and ability to capture requirements
Excellent all-round Project Management Skills (Plan Do Review etc)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent people skills and the ability to expedite tasks in a firm and diplomatic manner
Team working & Customer Focus
Supplier coordination / management.
Applicants should be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent with 2 years experience or relevant vocational qualifications and 5 years experience
HNC/HND in Business / Engineering / IT Discipline would be a definite advantage
OTHER
This role will primarily be based at Broughton for A380 and the Design Office, however travel to Filton (and possibly other locations) will be a part of the role and the successful candidate will need to show a willingness to travel.
This position involves working closely with the A400M and Filton Ops Project Controller who will be based at Filton.
