PLANNER
POWER CONVERSION SYSTEMS
BASED RUGBY

A Planner is now required to provide pro-active and efficient high level programmes in conjunction with Project and Resource Managers and to produce informative programme analysis identifying issues, risks, trends, forecasts, etc. Your main duties will include developing and maintaining a suite of integrated design, procurement and manufacturing programmes in close collaboration with project teams and to monitor, progress and update the programmes with the project teams and assist with resource planning.

As Planner, you will also be required to create 'what if' scenarios based upon project manager's requirements and to forecast and highlight programme deficiencies.

Qualified to HNC/Degree level in an engineering discipline you should have significant experience in a related industry sector, preferably within the power conversion/ generation industry. You should have experience of the production of high level programmes with complex inter-dependencies and excellent comprehension of first principles and an understanding of Earned Value Analysis. Experience of P3e or Microsoft Project would be highly advantageous.

You should have proven organisational and communication skills, be able to represent project teams and to liaise with customers and suppliers during technical and progress meetings. In addition, the role of Planner requires a full driving licence and security clearance is essential with occasional UK and overseas travel required for this role.
