Position Title: Pipeline Engineer
Location: Aberdeen, Dyce
Position Description: You will assist in the Pipeline Integrity Management of various oil production facilities with the effective provision and operation of inspection systems and services to the allocated offshore platforms.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Incorporated Engineer / Degree or HNC Level.
Experience: Practical experience in a similar role and commensurate with this position essential, including work in Pipeline Integrity Management
Skills & Knowledge: Must be competent to prepare and implement inspection strategies to ensure that pipelines, risers and ESDVs are certified in accordance with Oceaneering and Client codes of practice, strategies and offshore legislation.
Must be competent to manage internal and external inspections and to assess the remaining operational life of the pipelines.
Must be able to demonstrate good management and communication skills, both written and verbal for overseeing staff and dealing with clients.
Must be physically fully capable of monitoring all inspection activities.
