Description

Working from home and reporting to the Northern Regional Sales Manager, this role includes the management and development of distribution partners in Scotland. In addition the identification and development of appropriate new channels to market within Scotland to further strengthen the sales coverage and availability of all Drives & Automation products in line with the UK Distribution strategy.
Key areas of responsibility within this role will be:-
*Management and development of the existing distribution partners
*Identification and development of new channels to market
*Development and Implementation of a Systematic account management programme for each branch
*Management of the referral process within the geographic district
*Setting, monitoring and measuring targets by branch and by product
*Responsibility for the measurement and management of the Cross Selling performance of the distributors of the complete Automation portfolio into the indirect key accounts
*Working in close corporation with the regionally based Account Development managers to maximise resource utilisation and encourage close cooperation
*Appropriate support by way of accompanied visits to jointly develop existing accounts or help convert new accounts
*Coordination and facilitation of the divisions resources to support the partner network to deliver sales growth with maximum efficiency
*Using the CRM system to maintain indirect customer records, log opportunities and systematically follow through the sales process's

THE PERSON
Qualified to HNC/Degree level or equivalent we are looking for suitably qualified sales personnel who have the ability to work proactively to develop our supply chain partners. Also vital to this role is the familiarity with the full spectrum of the company's Drives, Automation & Control products and solutions available, relevant to the target markets and strategic levers in line with the overall company sales strategy.
This is a demanding and challenging opportunity that requires candidates to have a consistent track record in sales, which will readily establish credibility in dealing with our partner's management and sales personnel. The emphasis on the role is very much to support and assist the Distribution channels to achieve the goals and objectives set. Key attributes required will be persistence and management acumen.
We are looking for determined, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who have the desire to take on a challenging new role within the division. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation are essential. The ability to work under pressure & to work on your own initiative is also required. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to motivate others and quickly make an effective contribution to the sales efforts.
