Our client is a developer and engineer of specialist processes and equipment that serve the food, polymer, bio fuels and chemicals markets. The technologies include evaporation, vapour recovery, drying and heat transfer. Inputting into projects with values frequently in excess of £10M, the job holder will support the project managers and sales staff with process engineering covering the whole product life-cycle. This includes design reviews, checks and amendments to P&IDs produced by sales staff, generating equipment specifications and data sheets, approving drawings and specifications submitted by vendors, undertaking HAZAN/HAZOPs, writing operating manuals and instructions, organising and executing pilot trials, and driving field installation and commission exercises. Regular overseas travel will be an exciting feature of this position.
