PRINCIPLE MECHANICAL BUILDING SERVICES DESIGN ENGINEER EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD A DEPARTMENT
THE CLIENT
Our clients building division undertakes public and private sector commissions on all types of building projects. Both single-discipline and multi-discipline services are provided by our architecture, structural engineering, building services engineering and quantity surveying teams.
THE ROLE
Successful candidates will undertake the design duties associated with the building services installations for new build and refurbishment construction projects. The role will be undertaken within a multi-discipline environment working on Local Government projects including education, leisure and administration sectors. The candidate will be expected to exploit the latest technology and guidance to deliver modern engineering solutions.
THE PERSON
Our client would like to meet candidates with Electrical Engineering or Building Services degrees. They must posses relevant design experience and have a good understanding of current issues within the building services industry. i.e. sustainability etc. An awareness of Quality Assurance standards and CDM regulations would also be beneficial
KEY COMPETENCIES
•Computer literacy including competency with the Microsoft Office suite of software.
•Competency with AutoCAD.
•Competency with design software including HevaComp, Cymap and Amtech.
•The ability to monitor and manage contract budgets.
•Effective communication skills
•The ability to integrate with and contribute to both external and internal design teams.
•A professional and enthusiastic approach to their work.
•The ability to manage their workload.
