Systems Integration - Software/Applications Engineers
A PLC Systems Engineer with a min of 3 years experience & qualified to HND level is required by Systems Integrator to specify, design and configure SCADA & PLC hardware & software for industrial process control, principally for the water industry.

Typical duties will include:
-undertake tasks relating to the selection, configuration & test of both hardware & software for control & automation systems.
- review customers User Requirement Specifications, both project specific and generic, and advise others on the selection of appropriate, cost effective, industrial control system hardware and software solutions.
- prepare Functional Design Specifications for control systems to reflect the requirements of the URS. The FDS to include System Architectures, Functional Descriptions, Input/Output Lists, Industrial Communications etc.
- review & advise on the content/design of automation control panels.
- prepare Software Design Specifications, Factory Acceptance Test Specifications, and other related documentation where required by the contract.
-configure industrial automation software.
- assist, where necessary, Commissioning Engineers, in the on-site testing or de-bugging of the configured software & related hardware.
