A principal manufacturer of complex, bespoke products is looking to add to its engineering and design team. Offering a continuously challenging and diverse position, this company seeks a PLC systems engineer to devise and implement automation solutions for their latest products.
Role & Responsibilities:
oDesign control circuits for PLC units on machinery
oProducing bespoke designs for the hardware and wiring systems
oProgramming software to operate the machinery
oUsing multitude of PLC systems (Siemens, AB, Omron, etc)
oHands on implementation of systems
oVisiting customer sites for installation/commissioning stages
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oStrong PLC experience
oGood background in a similar environment
oHardware design/implementation skills
oPLC software programming ability
