PLANNING / ESTIMATING ENGINEER

My client is looking for an Estimating Engineer to join a busy machine shop in the Leicester area. In this role you will formulate and submit Estimates and Quotes to Customers and generate Production Planning documents.
The successful applicant will
•Have experience of working in an engineering environment
•Ideally be time served
•Have a good understanding of machining and the processes involved
•Be able to specify production routing and methods
•Be able to read technical drawings
For this role you will be a good communicator, be able to liaising with both the customer and the engineering department and be able to work in a small team. You will have good computer skills and have a good understanding of mathematics.
