Description
Our client, a global telecoms company, requires an Oracle Support Operative to take up position working on site for a large government end-client. The
successful applicant will have Oracle DBA support skills and the ability to be a self starter. Essential is experience of Oracle 10g, including RAC, CRS, NET Services, +ASM and Dataguard. Also required is experience of Oracle Heterogeneous Services, Advanced Tuning, OEM, RMAN, and OWB. Strong working knowledge of SQL+, PL/SQL, and TOAD for Oracle is also needed as well as Solaris 10. In addition general networking knowledge is highly desirable. This is a contract vacancy, initially for 6 months, to be based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
