Our client within the health sector looking for an Oracle Developer / DBA to work on a development, testing, deployment and support of a health IT Project. The role is based in Exeter, Devon.
Essential:
•Proficient with Application Development
•Familiar with Oracle 9i &/or 10g Administration utilities
•Familiar with Enterprise Manager and experience of Toad will be important.
•Familiar with RMAN & Dataguard
•Familiar with UNIX both shell scripting and the operating system are important.
•Familiar with SQLNet, Listener and Connection Manager which are critical to the control of access to the Production and Development databases.
•Aware of Software Testing
•Familiar with Corporate, Industry and Professional Standards
Desirable:
•Previous experience in working within the NHS, SHA, Npfit, CfH would be an advantage.
•Oracle training and skills development courses, provided directly by Oracle would be an advantage.
