Operations Manager / Service Manager / Logistics Managers / Service Manager
£55,000 + Bonus + Car + Private Healthcare

The opportunity has arisen with in a very well established and highly respected global organisation for a highly driven and ambitious General Manager from either a manufacturing, FMCG or logistics background.
Our client is one of the worlds leading with in there market place, with representation across the globe they a truly a business with an important role with in the day to day operation of modern day society.
Reporting to the director you will be responsible for the day to day operation and management of an extremely busy logistics operation. Responsible for the management and direction of the branch and its 200 employees providing support and leadership at an optimum level.
You will be required to:
Set, monitor and manage budgets
Improve profitability and customer service
Make regular visits to relevant clients and customers to maintain and develop existing relationships whilst identify opportunities to maximise branch revenue.
Analyse training and development schemes for all employees
Deals with recruitment, disciplinary, grievances and in accordance to company processes and procedures.
Reduce cost and increase efficiency to increase branch profitability
You will derive from either a Logistics, Manufacturing, Process background with experience of working and implementing lean manufacturing processes and methodologies. You will also have a strong working history managing large teams and departments and a P & Ls of at least £15million.
The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills with a customer focused attitude with the drive to develop and implement best practises to improve the business and its surrounding operation at all times.
