An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Oil and Gas Process Business Development Manager for a global EPC Contracting company.
The organisation are looking to develop more new business in the UK refinery sector, and they are looking for an ambitious, technical candidate who already has a proven track record in sales and an excellent knowledge of refineries. The position will involve working from their Manchester office, with travel involved to refineries and clients.
Responsibilities: - To develop new business in conjunction with the Business Development Director.
- To take a lead role in the development of Oil & Gas business, alongside the Business Development Director.
- To lead proposals and client presentations.
- Establish appropriate working relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Manage all staff within the engineering discipline and assume all technical responsibility for assigned projects. These will include directing the preparation of project scope, estimates, design criteria, schedules and cost projections.
- Travel, as necessary, in order to perform functions such as client meetings, information gathering and site inspection.
- Attend industry and institution functions to promote the company.
Requirements: - Candidates will have a technical background, ideally in process engineering.
- Will have solid sales experience.
- Vast experience of working on refineries in a technical capacity.
- Will have administrative and technical management skills.
- Must display a very high degree of technical competence in the oil and gas field to generate confidence of the client.
Salary: - The salary will be c. £55-70k (dependent on experience), plus £7k car allowance.
