This is a new role with responsibility for managing all existing and future offshore business development activities for Moogs Industrial Motion sector in Aberdeen. Working from home and supported by the Sales & Marketing, Applications and Engineering teams, you would be responsible for direct sales and business development of our products solutions and services at various levels throughout the customer's organisation, up to and including Senior Management
Offshore Sales Engineer
Your experience will be based on sound engineering knowledge associated with Industrial automation / hydraulic controls and you will have the ability to operate effectively at many levels in the customers organisation.
The challenge will be to maximise existing relationships as well as to track new opportunities from inception through the definition period, to winning and then maintaining the future business. You must be able to develop and communicate a team based sales plan as well as provide long and short term planning and forecasting. Although based in Scotland, you would also be expected to attend quarterly sales meetings with the team in Gloucestershire as well as attend overseas or UK training courses.
With a high commercial focus and business-minded, you will need an outgoing nature and a professional and credible persona. With an HNC, HND, or BSc (Engineering) Degree, you should have considerable technical sales or engineering experience and product knowledge within a related high technology industry.
