Top ten civil engineering company has an urgent requirement for an Occupational Health Nurse to be based in Central London.
The company has a serious commitment to the health and safety of its workforce and so is keen to appoint someone to manage all occupational safety, surveys, campaigns, screening and support on this exciting contract.
In order to apply, you will be a 1st level Registered General Nurse, with a post-registration qualification in Occupational Health, and strong experience of working in health surveillance and screening. It is highly desirable that you have previous experience of working in a similar role on a construction or engineering project, and candidates with the Nebosh General Certificate would be at an advantage.
You must be an autonomous practitioner with strong communication skills and highly IT literate, and have a full working knowledge of HSE legislation and its application within Occupational Health.
You will have a proactive attitude and have strong experience in undertaking site inspections and reporting on potential hazards to health, and be able to maintain and monitor health records in line with the Data Protection Act and the NMC Professional Code of Conduct.
