Leading nuclear company requires a Safety Case Engineer to join an expanding safety team. With an understanding of nuclear safety principles and their role and application within the nuclear industry, you will be the point of technical contact for major clients.
Leading nuclear company requires a Safety Case Engineer to join an expanding safety team. With an understanding of nuclear safety principles and their role and application within the nuclear industry, you will be the point of technical contact for major clients. You will be responsible for production and verification of safety cases & submissions and provide input into site/project strategies. You will liaise with project managers & site managers and assist in the technical aspects of the production of quotations, bids and tenders from pre-qualification through to formal tender.
You will have a numerate degree or equivalent and a thorough understanding of safety principles/safety cases and their role & application within industry. You will have a proven record in customer relations and capable of deriving & implementing innovative solutions for process improvement. You will have knowledge and experience of the UK nuclear market and experience in one or more of the following areas: probabilistic and deterministic risk assessment, radiological safety, safety cases.
SC clearance is required for this position.
This position is an ongoing contract paying an hourly rate between £30 and £48 per hour LTD depending on experience.
