To contribute to the development of analysis methods and processes in support of project stress teams.
Either directly, or via team, carry out metallic static stress method evaluation for application to design solutions for a range of tasks, ranging from concept design to manufacturing Concessions and certification requirements.

Non-Linear Finite Element Analyst

To contribute to the development of analysis methods and processes in support of project stress teams.
Either directly, or via team, carry out metallic static stress method evaluation for application to design solutions for a range of tasks, ranging from concept design to manufacturing Concessions and certification requirements.
Ensure that existing instructions are followed.
Cooperate with other team members, local, and transnational to ensure harmonisation and consistency of analysis methods.


To perform finite element analysis for the solution of linear, non-linear and impact structural problems related to aircraft structures.

The following skills/qualities will be required:
Skills required encompass the use of finite element analysis software for the solution of linear, non-linear and impact structural problems.
Experience of DYNA3D, RADIOSS or PAMCRASH essential.
Experience of ABAQUS and NASTRAN an advantage.
Good working knowledge of FORTRAN programming.
In depth understanding of structural analysis or stressing and/or knowledge of finite element software development are required.
A candidate with either a higher degree or suitable relevant experience would be considered.
Experience working as an engineer, preferably in the aircraft industry.
