What is the purpose of this role?
Based in Isleworth, the purpose of this role is to manage and coordinate operational resources within a defined area and to ensure effective delivery of waste network activities to prevent spillages and pollutions from our network and to meet customer needs.

The successful candidate will develop and manage a diverse range of activities that will benefit our customers, contribute to our regulatory compliance and further develop the skills of the Area Network Office team.
What will this role involve?
Responsible for the performance of the team against regulatory (DG7, Sewer Flooding, Pollutions) and KPI targets
Management of a team of office and field based staff, ensuring performance delivery against internal and external targets, including PDA's and regular One to Ones
Assist in managing contractors within the area to ensure effective performance delivery against KPIs and delivery of customer satisfaction
Work with the team to develop and implement operational efficiency initiatives
Build and develop relationships with key internal stakeholders (sewer flooding, operational control, engineering, wastewater quality, customer centre, external affairs)
Liaison with regulatory bodies and other key stakeholders (contractors, local authorities, environment agency)
Identify and manage local network enhancement opportunities through interface with the pumping station team, engineering and asset planning to avoid incidents and business impact.
Assist with the implementation and development of initiatives, strategies and procedures in accordance with Company Policy.
Work to improve the quality and accuracy of all data to provide information useful to the business
Ensure timely and appropriate identification, management and mitigation of network risks
Effective identification, escalation and management of events to minimise risk to business
