Network Manager - Lancaster - up to £25,000 - I am recruiting for a network manager to maintain company systems infrastructure to meet the required SLA's both internally and externally. The network manager will be responsible for domain maintenance, security and group policies. The role will invoolve the integration and testing of business continuity plans into technology infrastructure. The role also has the responsibility for the provision and maintenance of remote connectivity.
The skils they are looking for include:
Experience of Domain, Active Directory and Policy Management.
Experience of TCP/IP and X.25 Communications.
Server Platform Maintenance and Migrations, Windows Server Enterprise 2000/2003.
Server Software Maintenance and Migrations, Exchange 2000/2003, DNS.
Oracle Server 9.02 and Microsoft SQL Server Maintenance and Management.
Deployment and Configuration of Workstation Software, Windows XP, Oracle Client, Microsoft Office 2003, etc.
Configuration and Management of Comms Infrastructures, Routers, Switches, Nics, Firewalls.
Disaster Recovery Design, Implementation, Management and Testing. Skills Including Load Balancing, Failover, Microsoft Clustering Environments and Oracle Replication.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer/Administration Qualification.
Ability to work on own initiative and to supervise effectively.
Problem solving.
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Understanding of the IT Operations environment
The successful candidate will be flexible as the role may sometimes require some out of hours work.
