Global market leader in the supply of construction products such as aggregates, concrete, bricks and concrete products have consistently stayed ahead of the market. Commitment to investing in improvement and replacement of the capital machinery means that there is now an immediate requirement for an experienced National Engineering Manager / Project Manager.
As a Project Manager, you will be managing a number of installation and / or refurbishment Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects across the UK. This will involve providing project engineering and technical support to the installation, refurbishment, commissioning and improvements of large scale capital plant such as materials handling systems, conveyors, crushers, electrical and mechanical products and construction products. Total project size will be worth up to approximately £8 million and so a good level of financial awareness is vital.
Key skills required as a Project Manager:
-Experience of handling multiple CAPEX projects (total portfolio up to £8 million)
-Site management
-Understanding of CDM regulations ' method statements, risk assessments etc.
-P+L / Budgetary control
-Experience in a heavy process industry such as: Aggregates, concrete, bitumen, asphalt, cement, FMCG or similar.
