ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN, ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE, MULTI SKILLED ENGINEER
Our client a leading food manufacturer based on the London / Essex borders has created a new opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Maintenance biased).
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be joining an existing Multiskilled Engineering team and your main duties involved with this role will be the planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance of fast moving, PLC controlled production machines.
Machines will include mixers, conveyers, packaging and labeling machines. The role is electrically biased. Multiskilled Engineers will have previous experiences of working within a food/fmcg, bottling, canning, and bakery or similar would have a distinct advantage.
Maintenance Technicians with 16th Edition are highly desirable as a good knowledge base of PLCs maintenance.
Applicants must be electrically (16th Edition Electrical Maintenance) educated with solid knowledge of PLC fault finding, preferably with Allan Brabley. PLC programming skills would desirable although not essential. Applicants must also have proven mechanical skills and proven work history in a production environment.
This is a permanent position working a Continental shift system, 12 hour shifts, days / nights.
