One of the largest FMCG manufactures in the UK, employing over 7,000 staff across 21 processing facilities. Their site in the south west, are now recruiting for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.

One of the largest FMCG manufactures in the UK, employing over 7,000 staff across 21 processing facilities. Their site in the south west, are now recruiting for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Working a continental style shift pattern (3 on 3 off days and nights rotating 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am 42 hours per week) you will be responsible for the maintenance of all conveyers, packaging and high speed machinery on site. Working with a variety of PLC controlled systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi), responsible for fault finding as well as diagnosis on them. Having daily schedules for planned preventative maintenance and reacting quickly and efficiently to all breakdowns on machinery to minimize production downtime.
This position would ideally suit a Multi-skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, with experience within a FMCG environment. PLC knowledge would also be advantageous.
In return the company offers a salary of £28,500, plus 25 days holiday per year (+stats), a contributory pension, bonus, subsidised canteen and staff sales.
