Assystems client is a leading supplier and manufacturer of Automotive and Motorsport consultancy services. This current role is for an experienced Engineer with experience of the design and development of composite components as used in the Motorsport, Automotive or Aerospace industries. Key responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of new part introduction, including design for manufacture, tooling design, laminate design, manufacturing information and first part assessment.

Ensure smooth day to day running of the small batch based manufacturing operation plus one off prototypes
Responsible for customer support and maintenance for all engineering and production engineering related issues
Education / qualifications
Degree in composites engineering related discipline is ideal
Experience in design/manufacturing of high performance composite parts desirable.
