Job Title Module Quality Engineer
Location Dorset
Permanent
Salary - Depending on experience
A large aerospace manufacturing company are looking for a Module Quality Engineer to ensure that quality processes are maintained and functioning to result in improved quality within the designated module and department.
The Module Quality Engineer will ensure
Manufacturing records are maintained
Change control procedures are followed
Component failures are investigated, monitored, tracked and analysed
Deal with Material review board issues
Attendance at life cycle management reviews
Customer audits are supported
Quality tools are checked to be within calibration periods
First article inspections
Provide input to improvement activities
Looking after scrap storage and disposal
Participate in traceability exercises
Applicants should have a solid engineering quality background, looking after a module, department etc and ensuring all quality issues are looked after with any major issues being escalated to the next level.
Any quality qualifications would also be of benefit.
