A mobile handset repair company is seeking numerous technicians to repair their handsets to component level. Previous experience in electronic test and repair is required.
A mobile handset repair company is seeking numerous technicians to repair their handsets to component level. Previous experience in electronic test and repair is required.
Technicians will be working as part of a specific handset team, and will be required to ensure the smooth flow of the product through the Repair Centre, providing a high standard of repair to external customer and to internal process partners.
Technician's will be required to partake in the following:
- Cosmetic Replacement
- Component Level Fault Finding
- Component Level Fault Resolution
- Hand Soldering
- BGA operation
- Operation of RF test equipment to include: RF test sets, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators and Oscilloscopes.
- Accurate entering of required data
- Reference to manufacturers service documents
- Working within strict manufacturers guidelines
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong Soldering skills
- Previous testing/fault finding experience to component level, on mobile handsets or small electronic devices.
- All applicants must be numerate, literate & computer literate
- Applicants must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to undertake the full range of activities required by the business and may need to work different shift patterns.
