Our client operates at the heart of the broadcast and mobile communications industry and is at the forefront of network solutions and services in an increasingly digital world.

Summary of job:
- Co-ordinate and provide technical support for all mobile data products to internal support groups and directly to Public Safety customers
- Provide mobile data engineering support that enhances the service delivery to customer and the Business Unit including knowledge management of mobile data information
- Support the business unit technically and assist with the interpretation of customer requirements in order to produce technically sound solutions with minimal risk

Responsibilities:
- Manage technical support requests if required, and ensure they are followed through to resolution
- Develop processes to enhance the ability to track and review mobile data technical enquiries to improve service level performance
- Liaise with business managers to understand the strategy and requirements of new mobile data products and services
- Provide analysis of various data sets to provide customer reports on system performance
- Liaise with relevant Operations stakeholders to ensure their understanding of the mobile data service deliverables and scope out any specialist requirements to support new services
- Work as part of the bid team providing costing and technical input into tender responses on support tools and processes
- Liaise with suppliers in order to manage and resolve engineering and maintenance issues
- Develop relationships with relevant suppliers ensuring regular technical reviews are taking place
- Develop technical knowledge in line with the changing business requirements and provide a focal point for collating and distributing mobile data knowledge to all stakeholders responsible for supporting Public Safety customers

Recognised qualifications essential for role:
- Appropriate technical qualification - Degree or equivalent

Role specific skills required:
- Knowledge of PMR or Tetra networks and overall strong technical aptitude
- Mobile data Design/Engineering I&C Planning Optimisation
- Experience of ITIL and / or Knowledge Management
