Description

Our Client is a world class manufacturer of plasterboard and associated products. They have the requirement for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Electrician to provide maintenance and repair to fixed and mobile plant plus infrastructure based within the mines. Applicants should have recognised Electrical engineering qualifications and ideally have experience with 3 Phase Motors and Control, PLC and SCADA. Experience in High voltage 11000v would be an advantage.

Experience in High voltage 11000v would be an advantage. This is a day shift role, Mon Thurs, 7am 5pm.

Experience and Personal Attributes:

•Experience in high voltage 11,000v would be an advantage.
•FLP & HT switching and maintenance
•Experience from a mining background would be advantageous but not essential
•3 phase motors and control
•PLC and SCADA
•Computer literate
•A can do attitude, embracing the company's drive towards a continuous improvement culture, while profitably satisfying both internal and external customers
•Willing to lead improvement projects
•Aware of customer demands
•Help other workgroups/disciplines in their drive to continually improve
•Relentless in getting to root cause

Education, Qualifications & Training:

•ONC / HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent
•Recognized apprenticeship
