Military Customers Services (MCS), Risk and Opportunity Manager - required for this leading international Defence & Avionics player to manage the MCS Risk Identification, Evaluation and Mitigation Process in line with company procedures and ensure that this process is adopted and roll out across the MCS portfolio of programmes. Provide risk management, analysis and support for MCS Bids and programmes.
Key Tasks
Develop MCS Risk and Opportunity Process. Develop risk management interface with Key Customers. Risk Management Support/Analysis to Key MCS Programmes. Independent Programme Risk reviews. Risk analysis and action planning. Production of Risk status reports - to support MAP and Programme Reviews Generation of an MCS generic risk database for use on MCS Bids and Programmes.

Technical & Professional skills
Has held a risk management position in the past or has undertaken risk management as a core activity within a previous role. Experience of managing risks in high value complex technical programmes would be essential In depth Knowledge of Risk Management Processes and standards. Practitioner/Competent User in an industry recognised risk tool e.g Pertmaster/ARM/Predict Has been in a customer facing role.
Education & Qualifications
Excel and MS project/schedule expertise Project Management Accreditation if possible (APM or other).
Personality / Behaviours
Able to lead teams and mentor. A lateral thinker who shows an innovative qualities Intelligent and articulate individual required with good interpersonal and presentational skills. Ability to work within variable mixed teams across functions/business units - a good team worker. A proactive self-motivated character is required to develop and manage MCS risk management.
