Description
Mechanical Project Engineer
KPJ Recruitment have been trading since 1974. We specialise in Technical Engineering placements covering Mechanical & Electrical, Civil and Structural disciplines.
Our client based in Colchester, are involved in the manufacture and process of quarrying and aggregate products. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to provide management of medium capital projects and provide technical resource at their site.
You will be liaising between the engineer department and site managers and will be responsible in making decisions regarding various issues on the site. The main role is to ensure that all projects are managed to acheve budget, programme, and objectives in a safe and professional manner.
Key roles may include:
- Control of Design and Draughting services
- Procurement of materials and services
- Installation of process and materials handling equipment
- Commisioning of above.
A good background in Mechanical Engineering within the mining and quarrying industry along with Project Management skills would be advantageous.
