Our client is looking for a Mechanical biased Maintenance Technician to work in Ivybridge.
We are looking for a Mechanical biased Maintenance technician to work for an Automotive manufacturing company based in Ivybridge, Devon.
Our client specialises in the manufacturing of tyres from small independent transport companies to trans-national fleet operators which extends across the continent as well.
The successful candidate will be :
Experience as a hands-on Mechanical Fitter
Working knowledge of Electrical installations
Flexibility and adaptability
Work under own initiative
Tools are provided by the company
You must be time served in a relevant subject.
You will be working on replacements, bearings and bolts on steam boilers, hydraulic and electrical machinery.
You will be working a weekly rotating shift:
Week 1 - 06:00 - 15:00 Mon - Fri
Week 2 - 15:00 - 00:00 Mon - Fri
The salary starts at approx £18,500 but rises to approx £20,000 per annum after 3 month probation. There is plenty of overtime available which tends to be carried out over the weekend and is paid at £9.74/h.
