GAS & STEAM TURBINES FOR POWER GENERATION
BADEN, SWITZERLAND

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer, Steam Turbine Components to join the Power division of one of the world leaders in transport and energy infrastructure.

The Power Division, based in the beautiful town of Baden, Switzerland, is a large and well-established company specialising in electricity generation equipment and services and is one of the worlds leading suppliers in the field of power station construction.

As Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical assessment and modelling of various components within the steam turbine such as blades, rotors, casings and bearings. You will also support, coordinate and contribute to research projects involving universities.

Qualified to degree level in mechanical engineering, you will have strong skills in technical mechanics and experience with finite element programs. Ideally, you will also have some know-how in thermodynamics and the design of machine elements. Some practical experience in applied mechanics or a PhD in the field of mechanics would be an asset, but applications from talented, fast-learning graduates are also welcome. You will be a highly-motivated team player with the motivation to develop and apply your engineering expertise and the ability to work independently as well as within an international team.

Famous for its thermal baths and historic town centre, the small but lively town of Baden is situated just twenty minutes from Zurich and the airport.
