Company based on the outskirts of Brighton require a Mechanical / Diesel Fitter
Company based on outskirts of Brighton, Sussex require 3x Mechanical Fitters / Coach Builders
Essential Skills
- Able to work from engineering drawings / sketches
- Able to fabricate (both box section and solid plate) - not necessary to be able to weld (although would be an advantage)
- Able to perform basic electrical installation (runing pre built looms/cables throughout a chassis)
- previous experience of diesel engines/generators/plant or similiar (understanding of how a diesel engine works, and able to identify the different parts of the engine)
Advantageous (not essential) skills
- Able to weld
- previous experience of building vehicles/trailers/industrial transportation equipment
Must have own basic set of hand tools
Hours - min 40 - 45 (although currently working 50-60+ hours)
Pay Rate £9.67 (paye) - £11 - £12 (Ltd) - Depending on Exp / Pay status
Duration Long Term (v min 6 mths)
