An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Assembler to work within the smart purpose built factory of leading global manufacturer of high value capital equipment.
The Mechanical Fitter will be reporting to the Production Manager. Main responsibility will be mechanical assembly of allocated units, ensuring all projects comply with quality standards, build procedures and dispatch deadlines are met. The appointed Fitter will be working within a small but experienced team and will be expected to highlight areas for improvement relating to product design, ease of assembly or quality. The position attracts a hourly rate of between £9.50 - £10.00 per hour plus overtime paid at time and half Monday to Saturday and double time Sundays, life insurance and pension scheme.
