This well established engineering contractor operate across a vast range of industries ranging from the complex process environments of petrochemical and pharmaceutical clients through to leading edge technology and telecommunications requirements of their commercial clients.
Roles & Duties;
• To prepare and collate tenders and source pre-project information by a given deadline
• To price and estimate various building services and HVAC projects
• To provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates from enquires stage to bid submission.
• To follow up on submitted tenders.
• Analysing sub-contractor / vendor quotations and checking inclusions and exclusions.
• To deal with clients at post tender meetings and conduct presentations
The Ideal person will have;
• Suitable qualification in Quantity Surveying and / or Building Services Engineering.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful career history in the mechanical services industry with a minimum of 5 years experience in estimating for both the commercial and industrial sectors.
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD and MS Project.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Be commercially aware
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
