Description
Youll join a multidisciplinary team of Civil, Control and Instrumentation and Electrical Engineers in working on petrochemical pipework and pipeline design on a project by project basis. Its a role that will see you operating as something of a design coordinator, helping to manage, as well as aiding the technical development of, the Mechanical Design team. Youll also be involved in preparing detailed design reports, specifications and component datasheets.
Ideally youll either hold or will be working towards Chartered Engineer status. Along with sound knowledge of UK or international design codes, standards and specifications youll bring the ability to use the MS Office suite of programmes. Youll have supplied engineering design and consultancy services to the petrochemical industry before. Whats more, youll offer plenty of initiative, plus a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
